Comprehensive Physical Exam
This is followed by an in-depth evaluation, including orthopaedic examination, functional assessment and diagnostic imaging as needed. Highly educated in pathophysiology and diagnostic skills, I understand when something is musculoskeletal or when a referral to another health care provider is necessary.

Exercise as Medicine
Our bodies are meant to move. Not only is exercise incredibly effective at reducing pain, it also makes us stronger, more resilient, and more independent. . An individualized exercise program with appropriate self-management strategies is an important asset to pain management and recovery.
Concussion Assessment & Management
If you have suffered a concussion it is important to have it managed by a health care professional. A thorough examination is required to determine the severity of your symptoms and cognitive deficits. A progressive return to work or play protocol will ensure a safe and timely return to activity.
Manual Therapy
I use a variety of manual therapy techniques including Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT), joint mobilization, and soft tissue therapy. While these therapies are not recommended to be used as a sole treatment for most conditions, they can be a helpful option to help reduce pain, when used in conjunction with exercise, appropriate education and self-management strategies.
Therapeutic Modalities
Other passive treatment modalities may be used to help decrease your pain when dealing with acute symptoms, and increase your ability to move, exercise and recover. these may include Vibration, Electrotherapy (IFC or TENS) or dry needling.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Therapeutic Spinal Decompression is a non-surgical, traction-based treatment for spinal pain. Application of the computerized traction head with individualized programmed patterns of distraction and relaxation helps reduce pain symptoms, and can be another helpful tool to encourage more physical activity.
